CULTURAL KALEIDOSCOPE

Hong Kong is a kaleidoscope of life; a sophisticated fusion of East and West; a city of diversity where new and old meet at every turn. It is a unique experience shaped by a distinctive past and dreams of the future; an age-old synthesis of cultures and traditions that opens a window into what will be, while embracing what has passed.

Now you have a special opportunity to truly experience the culture that makes Hong Kong unique. The Cultural Kaleidoscope programme*, created by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, provides the following ways to enjoy Asia’s world city:

RIDE IN A CHINESE SAILING JUNK
Take advantage of a rare opportunity to ride aboard the last remaining sailing junk in Hong Kong, the Duk Ling.

MEET THE PEOPLE
The sessions introduce you to English-speaking experts who will share their knowledge of Hong Kong's most fascinating traditions and let you experience first-hand what has taken them years to learn. Visitors can pick and choose whatever they like from our easy-to-use timetable.

MUSEUM VISITS
Visit seven of Hong Kong’s best museums with a special, low-cost, weekly Museum Pass. For just HK$30. You can get into the museums of art, heritage, history, space, science, coastal defence and Dr Sun Yat-sen. This is a great way to experience the cultural kaleidoscope that is Hong Kong.
